What do we do down here, anyway???

We PRAY in Jesus' name and PRAISE Almighty God.

We REUNITE with old friends and REFLECT on past encounters.

We BOND with our team and BLESS those around us.

We PETITION for all our needs and PACK the truck.

We EAT very well and EDIFY each other.

We PREPARE with detail and PLAY games with fervor.

We have EMPATHY for all and ENERGY as needed.

We LAUGH together and LAMENT for the hurting.

We TEACH the children about Jesus and TENDERLY wash their hair.

We SHARE water filters and SHOW how they represent salvation.

We RIDE the school bus and RELY on the Lord for safety.

We ADMIRE people's resiliency and AFFIRM their gifts.

We PAINT houses and nails and POINT all to Jesus.

We are DEVOTED to the Lord and DETERMINED in purpose.

We PROVIDE what we can and PRESENT the Gospel whenever we can.

We RESTORE human sight and REMIND them to look to Jesus.

We CLEAN needy teeth and CARE for all.

We TREAT the sick and TEACH the Word.

We LOVE all and LEARN from all.

We are MATCHED for divine appointments and MARVEL at God's perfect timing.

We LABOR with cement and LOVE the Hondurans.

We are UNDIVIDED in purpose and UNITED in faith.

We GIVE whatever we can and GET SO MUCH MORE IN RETURN.

One story from today.

A beautiful, young 26-year-old woman named Francis and her five-year-old daughter named Miracle sat down at the evangelism station.  She entered on crutches, wearing a long skirt.  She was missing a leg. She immediately expressed her need to share her testimony about her daughter.  At 21 years of age, Francis was married and praying for a child.  She conceived with great joy.  At the same time, she was diagnosed with bone cancer in her right leg.  As soon as she got sick, her husband left her.  While pregnant, she hardly ate any food; it was medicine and medicine and more medicine.  When her friends and family visited her in the hospital, they saw her so sickly and so terribly thin.  After every visit, people would cry, anticipating her death.  When she was six months along in her pregnancy, her right leg was amputated high above the knee.  As she lay recovering, she wondered how she could possibly take care of her baby.  And... with all the medication she had consumed, she wondered how her baby would be affected.  Miracle was born - perfectly healthy.  People rallied around with love and support to help her in every way.  She gives God all the glory for her faith, for her survival, for her beautiful, healthy daughter, for her provision - for EVERYTHING - even her ability to now pray for her former husband.  Her passion is to share her testimony - and her testimony is overflowing with passion - all for the Lord.

So, you tell me who is being abundantly blessed down here.
