The Ranch Team had a very nice Sunday. We rode down the mountain with the kids from the Ranch to worship at a church called Impacto. It's a beautiful facility, the people were very welcoming and the pastor gave a very comprehensive sermon on the commandment: "Thou shalt not murder." Afterwards, the church provided lunch for us and the Ranch kids prior to the monthly family visitation time for the kids.
While some of the kids were receiving visits from siblings that have graduated from the Ranch or other family members, the rest of us were coloring, or playing games or shooting baskets on the basketball court. It's not nearly as popular as football (soccer) is here, but some people do play and every now and then you'll see basketball courts around the city.
After we returned to the Ranch, we had dinner and then served an ice cream social to the kids. It was very much appreciated! What kid doesn't like sweets?
