As a team we had been very healthy for the first part of the trip. But today a number of people came down with diarrhea, aches and pains. So, 5 people stayed at the Mission House to rest up and recover. The rest of Team A and Team B went out to serve at the churches we worshipped at on Sunday.
At the churches we provided the same medical, dental, optical and evangelism services along with the pharmacy and children's program as we did in the first part of the week. But throughout the week we have each worked at different stations each day. Below you will find a few pictures of today's activities.
By the time the two teams returned to the Mission House most of our ailing friends were feeling much better if not completely well. After dinner they seemed even better. Perhaps a good night's sleep will take them the rest of the way to feeling well again. However, we still have two people feeling pretty bad. So please lift up our entire team for healing and a strong finish to the week.
Friday will be our last day at the serve team sites. The weather looks like it wants to play havoc with our return on Saturday, so we ask you to pray for a smooth trip home for us. Thanks!
