Today is a travel day for the team. The first leg was into Houston International Airport. From there the entire team boarded a second flight onto Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Once they arrive in Honduras, the team is welcomed by staff from both the Mission House and Rancho Ebenezer. There's luggage to retrieve, customs to go through, and then the bus ride to their final destination.
The Rancho Ebenezer team - all five of us! - had an uneventful trip to Honduras. We enjoyed a group lunch with Ken, the Serve Team manager at the ranch. The restaurant (see photo) is owned by a young Honduran Christian woman he knows and supporting her business was delicious!
After an EXTREMELY bumpy ride to the ranch, we settled into one of the vacant family homes here. We're grateful to God for the safe travel ... and now we're ready for a good night's sleep!

From the Mission House Team
The team from Colorado arrived in Houston yesterday. Here they are waiting for their friends from around the country to join them at the airport so they can travel to Tegucigalpa together.
Smiling faces ready to serve!
We got settled into our room and heard from the WGO staff about our week ahead. Not to drink the water from the faucet, etc.
This evening we shared a little about ourselves and what we expected from the week. We split up the team into two groups and prayed to finish our day. Devotions will be at 7:15 AM tomorrow and then we'll attend services at the churches where we will serve on Monday and Tuesday.
