Preparations are just about complete for our upcoming mission trip to Honduras. Soon, 37 of us will boarding flights from various parts of the United States and heading south. The 2026 team is scheduled to arrive in Tegucigalpa on Saturday January 17, and we are looking forward to serving the people of Honduras with physical and spiritual help for the week that we are there.
If you have heard anything about life in Honduras it probably hasn't been positive. It's true that life there is difficult and that is why we go; to share our resources and our faith. World Gospel Outreach makes this possible by hosting us at Casa d'Esperanza, the Mission House in Tegucigalpa. During the week we will set up temporary medical clinics in local churches and offer medical, dental and optical care including medications and glasses. We will also provide water filters to many families, and we will share the Gospel with the people we serve, which includes many children.
It's a fun, tiring, difficult and rewarding week. We hope you will join us vicariously through this blog, and we invite you to support us through your prayers. We will report again once we have arrived in Honduras and will endeavor to post to the blog each day of our week in Honduras.
